Get Your Work Done At The Office

The Office is a strength and conditioning gym in Shanghai founded by Roy Chen. After getting put in touch by his good friends and regular gym goers, Roy approached us to design a mascot to help communicate the offerings and his gym’s philosophy.

Fittingly named as The Office, his idea behind the gym is for it to be a fun, productive and healthy escape from the workplace. A meeting place where city workers canpush some iron, let off some steam and meet like-minded folk.

The mascot, The Machine, is a tongue-in-cheek amalgamation of equipment and materials found in The Office and inspired by conversations with Roy about cartoons, animation and thepreference of Popeye arms over realistic muscles.

The Office 是位於上海的肌力與體能訓練健身房，由 Roy Chen 創立。在他的好朋友、也是健身房常客的牽線下，Roy 找到我們，希望為他的健身房設計一位吉祥物，用來傳達品牌概念與訓練內容。

正如其名，TheOffice 的理念是打造一個有趣、高效、健康的「逃離辦公室」空間——一個讓都市上班族可以舉鐵、釋放壓力、結識同道中人的聚點。

吉祥物 “The Machine” 以幽默戲謔的方式，將 The Office 中常見的器械與材料元素融合在一起，同時結合了我們與 Roy 關於卡通、動畫的交流，以及他對“大力水手式手臂”勝過寫實肌肉的偏愛，創造出這個充滿個性的形象。
